Winter sport destinations for nomads?

What are your favourite winter sport destinations for digital nomads?

Me and my partner love snowboarding and backcountry splitboard touring and we're exploring different options for this winter that doesn't break the bank.

We've already spent winter seasons in:

Bulgaria – Bansko resort
Japan – Madarao resort
Georgia – Gudauri resort

We're trying to see if anyone has experience with less expensive countries like Kazackstan or even budget-friendly options in Scandinavia? Canada was also on our list but we're going to be there this Autumn.

Have you thought of Poprad in Slovakia as well? It's a great place and there is also a nice nomad community there! The main ski area in Poprad is this ski resort called Tatranská Lomnica.

You might also want to check out Nepal, which could be another good one loved by nomads 😁
