I recently got back from a solo trip to Bali, and while I was there, I met a bunch of people who were living the digital nomad lifestyle working from their laptops by day, surfing by evening. It made me realize how miserable I’ve been with my 9-to-5 job back home. I’ve always felt stuck in a rut, but seeing how free and happy these nomads were really got me thinking. I don’t have a ton of work experience (just a couple of years in retail and some admin work), but I’m desperate to break out of my routine and live a more adventurous life.
I’ve got some basic tech skills, but nothing that would land me a remote job right now. What’s the best way to start this journey? What skills should I learn to become a digital nomad? I’m ready to take the plunge but feel totally lost on where to begin. Please share your experience (it would mean a lot to me)
